UPRC partner Ms Aikaterini Papapostolou participated at the 9th International Conference on Energy and Climate Change which took place at the Athens University History Museum of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens – NKUA on 12-14 October 2016, in Athens, Greece. The event was set under the auspices of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization (BSEC).
ENSPOL participated in the TRANSrisk Case Studies Workshop which took place on October 4th and 5th, 2016, at University of Sussex in Brighton, United Kingdom.
OPTIMUS Final Conference “OPTIMUS Technological Solutions for Real-time Monitoring and Energy Management in Smart Cities” took place on the 21st of September 2016 in Athens, Greece, hosted by the Decision Support Systems Laboratory. ENSPOL dissemination material was distributed in Towards2030-dialogue Regional Workshop organised in Budapest by REKK within the framework of Central and South East Europe Energy Policy Forum: Regional vision of EU-level renewable energy governance and effort sharing for 2030.
ENSPOL dissemination material was distributed in the Final Conference of DIA-CORE Policy Dialogue on the Assessment and Convergence of RES Policy in the EU Member States on "Options for the upcoming Renewable Energy Package".
ENSPOL partners participated in TRANSrisk "Quantitative Modelling Workshop", which took place on May 19th and 20th, 2016, in Graz, Austria.
The aim of this conference was to showcase some of the results of POLIMP and to discuss them with climate experts. In particular, the conference contributed to improved climate policy making in Europe by looking at two issues. First, by assessing opportunities for mutual learning from the design and implementation of climate policies globally, and second, by reflecting upon how EU climate policy will need to evolve after the Paris climate summit (COP21). ENSPOL dissemination material was distributed to the event's attendants.
ENSPOL partners participated in the “Best Practice Policies and Market Integration of Renewable Energy”, DIA-CORE Regional Workshop in Vienna on March 11th, 2015, promoting further the results of the project through the distribution of ENSPOL information material.
